I run the office side of the business, oversee my colleagues and ensure that the practice is running smoothly and seamlessly. I deal with the queries and questions asked by our many patients.
To add to my skills, I qualified as a Hearing Care Assistant last year and am currently undertaking the FdSc Audiology Degree at Anglia Ruskin University – so I keep very busy! This means that my role has changed considerably since joining Hearing Check as I now also help patients in the test room with their hearing healthcare, including ear wax removal.
I have been with the company since 2016, but worked with Simon in his previous audiology roles.
Seeing the patients so pleased with the level of service that we provide for them always motivates to come into work in the morning.
I live locally and love the practice environment… it’s a lovely place to work with super coffee and a happy team spirit. We have a great team here at Hearing Check, from the directors to staff, so I enjoy seeing the people that I work with.
I work best in roles that allow me to help others, so giving the patient the best experience possible, whether that’s over the phone, in person or in a test room. It really does put a smile on my face and makes sure every day on a positive note – for both me and the patient.
I enjoy talking with patients on a daily basis and genuinely feel that each patient that comes to Hearing Check leaves feeling like they are part of the ‘family.’ The patients here really do get to see how the helpful, friendly staff devote every second of the working day to making patient lives better in a comfortable environment.
