Great service. I initially bought hearing aids from another provider and had nothing but problems. I hadn’t realised the importance of finding a good audiologist. It’s not simply a case of buying… some hearing aids. The audiologist has to ‘program’ them. What a difference it makes when it’s done right! I now have fantastic natural sounding hearing which has made a huge difference to my quality of life. I would recommend Preston hearing care to anyone.read more

I took my mum here after having mixed service from both boots and spec savers. Straight away the difference in service was clear. Simon took the time to get to know my mum, spoke about the previous… issues she had and completed a thorough hearing test. He made my mum feel really at ease through the whole process. Just wanted to say thanks to Simon. Our mum can now hear, and we can actually have a conversation, even when not in the same room! She is getting used to her aid, and its so much easier when she… answers her phone via it. We will hopefully get to grips with the app soon. My experience of Preston Hearing Care Centre is that nothing is too much trouble, Simon went above and… beyond to ensure that I had the right product and that I knew how to use them. The technology is wonderful, the app on my phone is great. I am recommending your service to everyone. I didn’t need volume but I had lost the clarity which excluded me in group conversations and even made one to one conversation difficult. I booked an appointment here as it has been a long time since my ears were checked. The place itself is very relaxed when you come in, well furnished and comfortable. I was seen by Simon within 2 or… 3 minutes of sitting down and he was very knowledgeable, confident and easy to talk to.Had a free ear test and it turns out my ears are fine but I needed wax removing from one of them. Simon was superb in talking though the process with me and ensuring I knew what was going to happen when. Was in and out within 30 minutes. Excellent service.read more

We found Simon and his staff very professional. Simon takes all the time that is needed to explain everything. After receiving NHS hearing aids which are totally useless for my husbands condition my… husband took some pursuading to go the the Hearing Centre. Life has totally changed since he received the hearing aids from Simon. They are so discrete you have a job to see them and being able to charge the hearing aids overnight is much more convenient than batteries. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend them.read more

Absolutely brilliant! From the very first call to Tom to enquire about their services to walking out of the door with new hearing aids for my mum, we couldn’t fault one thing. Simon was just so… lovely, very patient and determined to help my mum to change her life for the better and he certainly has. It was a challenge as mum’s hearing is very limited, but his knowledge and expertise mean that she is experiencing a different world to one where she has lived for many years missing out on so much. For anyone unsure about the benefits of visiting here and wondering is it worth it, most definitely! I just wish I’d taken mum ages ago rather than waiting for so long but, thanks to Simon, she can now look forward and enjoy hearing again knowing that she has the support of a fantastic team of people should she need anything further. Had my first appointment here today 02/11/21.needed both ears syringing as is a regular thing I need doing every 2 years or so.My consultant Saminah was extremely professional and knew exactly what… she was doing, even after all this time, having my ears done is not something I relish. Visited today for micro suction ear wax removal having had virtually no hearing for a few weeks. From the start I have trusted Simon’s advice and knowledge. Such a lovely man, never rushes you, is very thorough in appointments, answers the million questions you have. Can always be contacted by… email even when appointments not due for a while, real 24/7/365 service. Support staff (the lovely Tom) always very helpful too. Has full range of hearing aids to choose from, explains the details, pros and cons of each. Really missed home visits during lockdown, thankfully up and running again now. Would recommend very highly. Don’t go anywhere else.read more
