Our SoundEars are custom moulded earphones combining 31dB (SNR) of hearing protection with high-quality audio via single balanced armature drivers. This product is the perfect solution for use with motorcycle intercom systems or for anyone who wants to plug directly into a phone, satnav, or MP3 player whilst riding. Our Soundear is supplied with a 3.5mm jack which means it will plug directly into a lot of intercom systems such as the Cardo Packtalk Bold or Sena 50S. Simply replace the padded speakers provided for crystal clear audio even at higher speeds. This product can also be supplied with a USB-C connector upon request rather than a 3.5mm jack.

Product Design

Dual Compound Silicone Earplug Construction

Unique to Ultimate and our SoundEar range, these earplugs are constructed of two different compounds of silicone. The main construction of the plug is a grade of comfortable silicone for strength, and to contain the cable and components, holding them securely within the plug. The earplugs also have an ultra-soft grade of silicone for the ear canal where comfort and flexibility is the absolute key to genuine sustained use.

Cable Specifications

Our polyurethane coated cable stops the cable reacting to sweat which causes it to go brittle. Kevlar coated strands makes it a lot stronger meaning it is less likely to break, using our four-point anchor system for positive connection and strength. The cable exit is also correct preventing any snagging issues.

Cable and Connector Options

– Our standard 1.4m cable has a choice of a straight 3.5mm jack or a right-angled jack

– Our Shorter cable (50cm) is only available with a straight jack and is what we would recommend for use with any intercom systems

– Our 2-part cable comes with a 50cm cable (connected to the earpieces) with a straight jack which can then plug into a 90cm extension cable which has a right-angled jack. This offers more flexibility as you have the option of a 50cm cable length or a total of 1.4m when the extension cable is in use.
